his heart pounding after seeing an old foe, but he manages to remain
calm and not change. Suddenly, the Absorbing
Man disappears.

in his new apartment and starts an average day by fixing eggs. April
walks in after having smelled the food cooking. He tells her he
is going to look for a job but he doesn't know what kind. April
shows Bruce her method of finding a job: taking the want adds and
a pin, then close your eyes and jab the pin into the paper. Wherever
it lands, that's the job you try for. Bruce comes back after a day
of job rejections. April sees his glum face and tells her she called
a friend and hooked him up with a job. Bruce tells you that if the
job works out, with his first check, he will take her out for a
steak dinner. April says she will hold him to it.

along with Doctor Druid, who needs Bruce's help. April runs up and
hugs him, glad to see that Bruce is alive after she saw the Absoring
Man attacking the construction site Bruce was working at. He
introduces Dr. Druid to her and the two go up to Bruce's apartment
to discuss how Bruce can help Dr. Druid. April realizes exactly
how little she knows about Bruce and how much she needs to find
out.
The Incredible Hulk #213: April sits in her apartment and
watches news on the television about a battle the Hulk is having.

questions. When she gets up there, see doesn't see anybody.

the former tenant that he still owes her a lot of money. Then April
asks about Jim who Bruce says is a guest. April says she still hasn't
decided if she is going to throw Bruce out or not. Bruce gets excited
and can feel himself starting to change. Jim helps get everyone
out of the apartment as Bruce jumps through a window to the ground,
changing into the Hulk as he falls.
The Incredible Hulk #215: Bruce and Jim walk back to his
apartment to find April and the old tenant arguing on the front
stoop. April wonders what Bruce is doing out when he kicked everyone
out before because he was sick. As he explains himself, suddenly
a beam comes out of nowhere and pulls him into the sky.
The Incredible Hulk #221: Bruce gets back to his apartment
after a long adventure as the Hulk. April sees him adn runs into
her apartment and locks the door. Needless to say, Bruce is confused.

Bruce know that he told April that Bruce is really the Hulk. Bruce
goes down to April's apartment and convinces April that he has gotten
control over the transformations. Suddenly, Stingray, out of his
costume, comes and tells Bruce he has to turn himself in. Bruce
says no way and gets into a fight. Stingray shoots at Bruce but
Jim gets in the way and takes the blast. Bruce gets mad and turns
into the Hulk. After the fight, April and Jim watch the Hulk jump
away.

man over a door replacement. The man says he will take the door
if he isn't paid. Neither April nor Jim have the money but suddenly
the old tenant shows up and has the money to pay the bill. April
