Identity Basis: The body of the Savage Hulk with the Bruce Banner mind active.

Strength: This incarnation can lift approximately 100 tons. Due to the fact that Bruce's brain is controlling the body and he is trying to stay in control, he can not fully tap into the unlimited strength of the Savage Hulk whereas the "madder he gets, the stronger he gets."

Intelligence: Genius

Transformation: Based on the cause of the incarnation, either there is no transformation or Bruce can change from human form to Savage Hulk form at will.

Comments/Information: It appears that this incarnation does not have the quick healing ability by the fact that the Hulk had to use a leg brace when his leg was hurt during the Secret Wars. Various causes of the years have brought out this incarnation: Magic: When the Hulk went to K'ai, the planet Jarella ruled, the magicians cast a spell which allowed Bruce Banner's mind to be in control. Exposure to extreme gamma radiation: The Savage Hulk was transported across space on a transport beam powered by gamma radiation. The high dose of radiation allowed Bruce's mind to gain control. Scientific: Reed Richards of the Fantastic Four created a machine which broke down Bruce to the very atoms and put him back together. After the experiment, Bruce was in control and could will the change. Scientific/Mental: When the strength of the Hulk was needed to remove a creature inside Glenn Talbot's brain, Doc Samson used an Encephalo-Helmet which allowed Bruce to be in control. A later attempt to use the helmet proved unsuccessful. It is possible that Bruce knew how much Betty needed him to save Glenn, so he managed through will power alone to gain control and the helmet was just a focus.
