First Appearance/Mention:The Incredible Hulk #269

Powers/Abilities/Skills: Bereet appears to have the same strength of an average human female. She is an artist on her homeworld and uses a variety of Krylor techno-art including her pet Sturky, which can convert one form of matter into another and the Star Eye which can contrive fictional narratives from whatever situations it has witnessed. She carries a bag which is a spatial distorter. Items are small until she pulls them out in which they grow full size.

Connection to Bruce Banner/Hulk: Bereet, a humanoid with bird-like features, first observed the birth of the Hulk from her home planet of Krylor and recorded them. Using alien technology, she weaved herself into the experiences and presented them as films to her people (Rampaging Hulk magazine #1-9). Wondering if she is even depicting the true Hulk, she travels to Earth to find out.

GREAT MOMENTS IN HISTORY

The Incredible Hulk #269: Bereet watches from a high as the Krylorians watch her old Hulk films she created using footage the Star Eye observed on Earth. They love the films but she is depressed because her people only want her old films, not any of the new techno-art she is working on. She goes back to her studio and laments over the under-appreciated techno-art she works on. She thinks about the Star Eye recording the Hulk's adventures and putting herself into the films and showing them to her people. She wonders if she even captured the true Hulk but thinks about the Krylorian rule about never meeting the alien lifeforms they use for the creation of art. She decides to break the rule. She grabs a Banshee Mask from her bag and puts it on. The two become one large spaceship as Bereet flies of towards Earth.

The Incredible Hulk #270: Betty kneels before Rick, who just exposed himself to gamma radiation. She tries to figure out what she must do to prevent Rick from dying. Bereet arrives and says that Rick can't die....at least unitl she can record it for her new movie.

The Incredible Hulk #271: Betty wonders who and what Bereet is. Bereet answers that she is a techno-artist and she is here to document the life of the Hulk. She says it is a pity that the film must start off with the death of Rick. Betty is hysterical that Bereet will not help Rick. Bereet sends Sturky over to calm Betty down. Bereet decides to go against the code about not interfering with the lifeforms she is filming and pulls out a Life Support Spider to stablize Rick's condition. Betty questions how Bereet knew Rick and the Hulk. She says that many years ago, she made a film with them. Rick regains consciousness enough to say that he has never seen Bereet before and then passes back out.

The Incredible Hulk #272: Betty kneels before the now-stabilized Rick, thanks to Bereet. Bereet pulls out the Star Eye and explains to Betty that it films situations and makes fictional narratives from them. Betty is amazed that Bereet is filming Rick's death instead of helping cure him. She questions her again about how she knows the Hulk and Rick. Bereet has Betty to look into the Star Eye where Betty sees images from Bereet's films and knows that they never really happened. Bereet says that she will not alter the course of events because she wants to film reality.

The Incredible Hulk #273: Betty is upset that Bereet is just going to film Rick's death. Bereet sends Sturky to calm Betty again but she blocks him. Betty convinces Bereet that it won't be much of a film if Rick dies the first thing. Bereet puts all her items into her handbag and gets ready to take Rick to a hospital. Betty says that they need to go to the deserted Gamma Base for the equipment still there. Bereet joins with her Banshee Mash and flies off towards the base.

The Incredible Hulk #274: Bereet, Betty, and the gravely ill Rick make it to Gamma Base. Betty tells Bereet how the base was shut down after General Ross suffered a nervous breakdown and Major Talbot died. Bereet considers it interesting background info for her new documentary. The two begin to wander around the base, looking for equipment which could cure Rick.

The Incredible Hulk #275: Betty and Bereet look over equipment, trying to make sense of it. Bereet tells Betty that Sturky ate all the security devices that were left behind. Betty wishes that Bruce were there because he would understand the equipment. Bereet says that Bruce impressed her with his scientific knowledge when they meet before. Betty yells at Bereet, saying that they never actually met. Bereet says that through the filming, she felt like she really got to know him. Betty apologizes and says that she has just been through so much. The Hulk, with Bruce's mind, makes it to Gamma Base and walks in on the group. He immediately starts to gather equipment to help Rick, oblivious to Bereet in the background. A robot attacks suddenly and fights the Hulk, with Bereet filming the entire battle. Bereet is amazed at the raw power and excitement.

The Incredible Hulk #276: Bruce has Bereet pull off the stabilizer and manages to cure Rick. Bereet is amazed that she can witness this first-hand and film it. Bruce explains what has happened to him recently, to allow him to be in control when he turns into the Hulk. Betty gets upset and runs away. Bruce starts to go off towards her when Bereet stops him and says that her heart rejoices for him and she is glad she can film it. This is the first time that Bruce really notices Bereet and the fact that she is not from Earth. Bereet explains about her past films but Bruce wants to get to Betty, so he brushes her aside. Rick helps Bereet up and asks her about her movies. Bruce is attacked by the U-Foes and Bereet envelopes her, Betty and Rick in a sphere to protect them while her camera records the fight. After the Hulk is defeated, Sturky opens the sphere and tells Bereet what happened. They decide to help Bruce. Bereet pulls out the Defendroids, giant robotic creations.

The Incredible Hulk #277: Bereet, Rick and Betty(reluctantly) go off to find the Hulk on Gamma Base to save him. Betty accuses Bereet of just helping to make great action for her movie. Bereet says that may have been the case in the beginning, but after having met Bruce, she really wants to save him. Bereet sends some of her techno-art creats to distract the U-Foes while another creation frees Bruce. Bruce turns into the Hulk and fights the U-Foes. During a battle with Vector, Bereet's Star Eye camera is sucked into the battle.

The Incredible Hulk #278: Bereet flies Bruce and Rick towards New York, to try to get the Hulk some type of amnesty. The Star Eye and other creations were destroyed during the battle with the U-Foes, so Bereet ejects them out into space, as a burial. Bereet goes to the sullen Hulk and tells him that people are willing to help him and more. The Hulk, still trying to recover from Betty rejecting him, rejects Bereet's advances. Bereet wonders if she should just go back home. As they fly on, they don't notice the Leader transport the Star Eye and other equipment into his ship. During an amnesty celebration for the Hulk, Krylorian ships attack. Bereet recognizes them from her films and is confused why they are there. The Hulk and other heroes present stop the invasion and the ships just disappear. The Hulk is considered a hero. Bereet tries to talk to Rick about what just happened but he is too distracted. From his ship, the Leader says that this is all just a part of his plan.

The Incredible Hulk #279: During another amnesty clelebration, Bereet wonders again about the Krylorian ships that appeared and disappeared.

The Incredible Hulk #280: Bruce, Rick, and Bereet are stuck in a hoten room because reporters keep hounding him. Bereet tells Bruce to go and get dressed, she has a plan. Bruce comes back dressed in a suit and Bereet puts her spatial distorter bag over him which puts him inside it. Bereet walks safely past the reporters and as soon as she gets in a cab, she brings Bruce back out. Bruce and Bereet eat dinner at a restaurant when reporters find him again. Bruce gets mad and turns into the Hulk and smashes his way out. Bereet catches up to him in the part and the two kiss. They go back to the room and enter when they are attacked by Humanoids created by the Leader. The Humanoids kidnap Bereet and Rick and the Leader issues a challenge to Bruce.

The Incredible Hulk #281: The Hulk looses consciousness in space while trying to get to the Leader. When he wakes up, he sees the Leader, Bereet and Rick sitting at a dinner table, surrounded by Humanoids. The Leader offers Bruce a deal to rule the world with him. The Hulk battles the Leader's humanoids while Bereet and Rick look on. Bruce is defeated and actually reverts to human form. The Leader, confident that the Hulk is no longer a threat, transports Bruce, Bereet, and Rick back to Earth.

The Incredible Hulk #282: Bruce, Bereet, and Rick come back to their apartment to find that they are being evicted due to all the property damage. Tony Stark, who is really Iron Man, offers Bruce lodging at the Avengers Mansion. Bruce accepts as long as his new 'companion,' Bereet, can come also. Tony says that she can be she will be restricted to certain areas for security reasons. At the mansion, Bruce and Bereet are allowed in sensitive areas to help Iron Man track down the whereabouts of the Leader. Bereet brings out a new miniature Star Eye to start recording her documentary again. Iron Man says that she can not film in the maximum security areas of the mansion. Bereet gets mad saying art is more important than security and then storms off.

The Incredible Hulk #285: While Rick is walking around the city, he sees a movie marquee that reads "The Life and Times of the Incredible Hulk in New Dimensiavision." He wonders what it is about and goes over to see who the director is. She sees Bereet stepping out of a limo. Rick asks Bereet why she is capitalizing and that he thought she liked Bruce. Bereet blows him off and says that her fans await.

The Incredible Hulk #287: Bereet makes another movie, this one a space adventure movie. Movie unions picket the movie to protect jobs but people walk by, ignoring them to get to the movie. Bereet looks on from a window above and wonders about costing people employment but the producer says you have to be competitive. The producer doesn't even believe that Bereet is an alien. Bereet says that she tried to sell the true story of the Hulk but the producer says that reality doesn't sell. Bereet thinks to herself that she wants to be regarded as a serious artist but on both Earth and Krylor, she just panders to the public taste.

Maximum Security: Dangerous Planet #1: Bereet's home planet of Krylor is observed to be destroyed by the living planet Ego. It is not known if Bereet was on the planet and died with the rest of her people.
