She sees the gentle soul within the Hulk. She tells her people that the queen must marry someone who has proven themselves in battle with the warthos so therefore she will take the Hulk as her husband and sovereign of the land. The sorcerors that serve Jarella say a chant around the Hulk which causes Bruce's conscious be in control of the Hulk's body. Bruce adjusts quickly to his new world. Bruce, who was changed back from the Hulk with the help of solar energy, is relaxing on the beach when Jarella appears. He instantly recognizes her and remembers his time there as Jarella recognizes him also even though he is in human form. The assassin is also nearby and is about to strike when Major Talbot arrives by helicopter to get Bruce. Jarella goes along with them. Scientists tell Bruce that Jarella's voyage has caused a time-space fissure and will cause the sun to go supernova. The governments plan is to take a Life Model Decoy of Jarella and send it back to K'ai so that everything will be restored back to normal. The assassin sneaks into the base and attacks Bruce and Jarella. Bruce reverses the solar process and changes back into the Hulk. The Hulk finds Jarella and remembers that she loves him when the assassin fires and hits some equipment causing it to explode. The Hulk stumbles out of the blast and kills the assassin for killing Jarella. But then Jarella comes up and says that it was the LMD which died. The scientists say that Jarella must be sent back to her own world before the sun explodes since the LMD was destroyed. The Hulk agrees, so that lives may be spared. The Hulk goes to the stronghold and is hit with the equipment which causes the savage Hulk to appear.
