The Hulk sits on his new throne, shrouded in a cloak, as a Spike feeds on him. Caiera asks why he has been letting the Spikes feed off of him for the last seven hours and tells him he can not take it. He replies that he is the Hulk and he can take anything but before he can finish his sentence, he is gripped with pain and you can see his hand revert back to human, although you can not see his face in the cloak. He tells there that it is alright and no one will dies as long as they continue to feed off of "him". Caiera notices that he uses the phrase "him" instead of "me" and he quickly corrects himself. The Spikes let go and thank the Hulk. He tells Caiera that the Spikes will pass the energy to the rest of the Spikes in the city and won't have to feed on anyone else. He steps up and walks out to the balconey and has changed back to the Hulk at this point. The Hulk and Caiera walk in the city and the Hulk is praised as he goes along and offered bread and food when suddenly a large explosion shakes the ground. In the northwest part of the city, some soldiers still loyal to the defeated Red King are attacking Elloe, Miek and others. Elloe and Miek chase them into building, killing some as they go along, when one asks for mercy. Elloe refuses mercy until she notices that the person asking it is her mother. Miek rushes in to kill her when Elloe stops him. Miek asks why Elloe's mother would help the Emperor's people when those same people killed her father in the Maw. Elloe asks her mother why and she says that the only reason is that they are blooded imperials and the world belongs to them, not the bugs. Miek talks about being a slave and one of his brothers grabs Elloe's mom but Elloe cuts him. Elloe and Miek are about to go at each other when the Hulk comes crashing into the building from the roof. The Hulk tries to settle the argument but Elloe and Miek continue to make threats to each other so the Hulk decides to put them both in the arena with their supporters. Korg and Hiroim stand between the two groups and offers them one last chance to walk away form this battle to the death but neither side budges. Some Shadow Elders come to talk with the Hulk but they are told to wait and see what is going on and are not impressed with the Hulk's 'new world.' The bell rings and the two sides start after each other. Suddenly the Hulk jumps in and starts to fight both sides, hitting both Elloe and Miek. He tells them they have to fight him or die. Spears and swords are thrown at the Hulk and he tells them to continue, even though they looked scared. The Hulk, body full of weapons, tells them the fight is over and that they are warbound now so embrace or he will kill them all himself. All the people on the field shake hands as the Shadow Elders are impressed by the result.

The Shadow Elders come to form a new treaty with the Hulk. They are allowed to keep their ancient lands and rights, they pledge their support in times of war, and provide a Shadow Guard and start to offer Caiera. The Hulk says that he does not want a Shadow Guard but a queen and Caiera is surprised by this. He offers his hand and she takes it as they walk off alone.

Later that night, Caiera is kneeling on the ground and says that for the marriage to be true, they must complete the Shadow Ceremony and she asks the Hulk to kneel with her and he does. The ceremony starts and she asks the Huk if he will bare his body and soul to her. The Hulk hesitates and she says she must know all of him and asks him to show her. The Hulk says all right and he reverts back to Bruce Banner. Caira is surprised and Bruce introduces himself. She leans forward and kisses him and he turns back into the Hulk. Later, the Hulk and Caiera walk out onto their balcony to the sound of cheers below.

Over in the Science Hall, the Brood and Miek walk along while Miek is grumbling because the Hulk has apparently forgotten about them, his dead queen, and what the Hulk was made to do, namely smashing and revenging. The Brood says that maybe it is time to forget and she starts to seduce Miek when they accidently hit a button which activates the video from the Hulk's shuttle which the Imperials still had. They watch the video of Dr. Strange, Mr. Fantastic, and Iron Man explaining how they are his friends and hate to send him away. Suddenly Miek knows how he will get the Hulk to remember what he was made to do.
