Synopsis: Bruce finds the very shrunken Joe Fixit in a dirty apartment
room. Joe tells him that this whole life is just a dream cooked up
by his head and that the nightmares he has been having are from the
Professor trying to get through to him. Joe says that Bruce kinda
went nutso when he say Betty's lifeless body in the glass case and
it allowed the devil to get loose. Joe tells Bruce that this is his
last chance to reclaim reality. Bruce doesn't believe it and runs
out, while Joe warms him that if he doesn't snap out of it, the Devil
will break the world. Bruce walks out of the hotel and down the street
and sees someone who looks like the Devil Hulk getting a haircut although
he is not fazed by the creature's appearance. He hears a person yell
in pain and turns around thinking that there used to be a hotel back
there, forgetting what had just happened to him and not realizing
the hotel had just disappeared. He heads back home to continue his
life, not realizing that more and more people are looking like the
Devil Hulk and that his life is starting to crumble. He continues
to have dreams about the Hulk and hears thumping sounds. He even goes
to see a psychiatrist, who ends up being the Devil Hulk. After leaving
the psychiatrist office, he walks down the street when he starts to
hear the thumping noise again until he realizes that the sound is
memory from inside himself. Suddenly the Savage Hulk, the size of
a giant, appears and starts to come after Bruce. The Devil Hulk picks
up Bruce in his car and drives him back to Bruce's house. He rushes
in the house with Betty and his kids and looks outside at the Hulk
and finally realizes that it is the truth. He remembers all that has
happened to him and that Betty is actually dead. He falls to the floor,
coming to the realization that his family is not real. The Devil Hulk
appears and says that Bruce is the one that created this life and
he can keep it if he just reaches out and touches Betty. Bruce goes
to Betty and kisses her head and tells her sorry that she is not real.
He takes the family dog and leaves the house as it explodes behind
him and the Devil Hulk crying no. He walks up to the large Hulk who
says that he will smash banner. Banner hangs his head low, opens his
arms wide and says "I know. You always have." The Hulk brings his
fist down which brings Bruce back to reality. He awakes on a bed,
crying and calling Betty's name.
