Bruce is walking across the street on a foggy day in England when someone suddenly grabs him and pulls him back jsut before he gets hit by a speeding car. She mentions that he looked the wrong way down the street. Bruce thanks her and she introduces herself as Tricia and she walks him across the street. Bruce offers to buy her a drink but she says she is a play-it-safe person and can just tell he has a dangerous side. Bruce watches her get into a cab and start to drive off. The notices that the car suddenly stops in the street and the cabbie runs out. He starts to run towards the cab and sees Tricia in the back of the cab looking out the window. Suddenly the cab explodes, sending Bruce flying back into a store.

The store owner goes to see if Bruce is okay and sees Bruce crawling out of the wreckage with a piece of glass sticking out of his head. The owner asks if he should call an ambulance and Bruce replies, as he turns into the Hulk, that he should call that ambulance for the guy he is about to kill. The Hulk goes smashing through the street after the cabbie. He corners the cabbie and the cabbie pulls out a gun and starts firing it at the Hulk. One of the bullets ricochets back at the cabbie and hits him and he falls to the ground. The Hulk is staring at him when he hears someone say that the cabbie is dead. The Hulk turns around and sees a ghostly image of Tricia. She asks if Bruce is in there or if it is just the Hulk. The Hulk asks if she is a ghost and Tricia replies that she is really a sorceress and this is her astral form. She asks if he has always been able to see astral forms and the Hulk replies yes. She leads him away to talk. She tells him that she thinks one of her rivals decided to take her out and used a spell to trap her in the cab to blow her up. She had no choice but to send out her astral form before the explosion and with her real body gone, she has 24 hours before the astral form dissipates. They have that long to figure out who wanted her dead so that she can rest in pieces. The Hulk asks what he can do and she says to just confront all the other sorcerers and sorceress and she will read their aura to see if they are telling the truth.

The Hulk goes to all the rivals and confronts them but none of them had anything to do with the hit. Tricia feels herself slipping away and asks the Hulk to do one last thing before she is gone, go tell her fiance that her last thoughts were of him. When she mentions the word fiance, it throws the Hulk off and he reverts back to Bruce. Tricia says that she feels that the two of them loved each before but it ended sadly. Bruce goes to the fiance's house and tells him he has some bad news about Tricia. When Bruce goes in, the man's son comes in and says that he loves her like his own mum. Bruce notices the almost gone astral form of Tricia pointing to the son, saying that he was the one who killed her. Bruce confronts him, accusing him of Tricia's death. The man does not believe his son would do it. Bruce turns into the Hulk and looks down at the son, telling him he can't prove what he did or smash him. But he will tell every sorcerer that he terrorized that day that the cause of all their problems were due to this boy and that they would surely find some imaginative ways to show their appreciation. He tells him he better start running and run far but it probably won't be enough.

Later, Bruce stands at Tricia's gravestone, leaving a letter he wrote for her, saying that maybe some time in another life, they will meet again and maybe get it right this time.
