This issue of the Hulk is a House of M tie-in

Monica and her assistant, Dr. Lazlo, are in a lab looking at a screen showing the Hulk and Scorpion finding her secret lab building a cyborg army, knowing there is going to be trouble. She asks to be patched into a special bandwidth and calls her daughter, Scorpion. Scorpion is confused until Monica tells her that she secretly put a transponder in her ear when she first joined up which makes Scorpion just a little bid mad. Monica tells her to calm down and say the word "dormez." She is confused but says the word out loud, which makes the Hulk sway and fall to the floor unconscious, reverting back to Bruce. Scorpion rushes over, wondering what happened. Dr. Isaac informs her that dormez is french for sleep and guesses that Monica introudced a post-hypnotic suggestion into Bruce's sleeping mind. Scorpion asks how to wake himi up but he doesn' know. Monica switches to another bandwidth and tells the cyborgs to target Bruce for immediate dispatch. Dr. Isaac is surprised and tells the units to stand-down but one just hits him. The cyborgs surround the unconscious Bruce but Scorpions stands by him so Monica tells the cyborgs not to fire on her daughter but to clear her out of the way. The try to take her but she fights back but there are to many and they overpower her. She yells that she will never forgive her for this but Monica just comments to herself that she will forgive her or she will make her and then tells the cyborgs to dispose of Bruce. The cyborgs surround Bruce again and in unison, fire on him. Suddenly the Hulk pops up and starts smashing all the cyborgs. Scorpion stops the fight and says that she thought he was unconscious. the Hulk replies that Banner sleeps but he never does and Scorpion tries to figure out how the Hulk was playing possum the whole time but gets confused.

Suddenly a 30 foot cyborg comes into the room and punches the Hulk up through the ceiling onto the street above. Scorpion grabs the cyborg boyfriend of the girl she helped before out of the wreckage. She can't believe all those people who came to Australia looking for help only to be used in a lab to build a cyborg army to defeat the mutants or take over the whole planet.

The Hulk and the giantic cyborg continue to fight in the city street. On a high balcony, Monica and Dr. Lazlo watch the battle. Dr. Lazlo worries that Magneto will know what they were doing before they were ready and that their associates are going to want to blame somebody on the situation. Monica replies that she plans on blaming everything on Dr. Lazlo. Dr. Lazlo says that he will have something to say about that in which Monica promptly pushes Dr. Lazlo off the balcony to his death.

The Hulk takes a huge chunk of the Australian Opera House and throws it at the cyborg. Just as the cyborg climbs out of the wreckage, the Hulk throws another piece of the Opera House right on the cyborg's head, killing it. Scorpion then mentions to the Hulk that he threw the two shells from the Opera House at the cyborg but asks why he destroyed the rest of it. The Hulk replies that he hates Opera.

Back in Bruce's office, Monica tries to throw all the blame on Dr. Isaac and Dr. Lazlo, who she said admitted guilt before "committing suicide," and said she had no idea about the cyborg army they were building. Scorpion doesn't believe her mother and asks about the transponder in her ear and putting the post-hypnotic suggestion into Bruce and Monica has an excuse for everything. Bruce then tells Monica to restore all the cyborgs their humanity and that every last person assoicated with AIM has an hour to get out of Australia, only Scorpion can stay. Bruce walks out on his balcony to see a holographic image of Magneto, who tells Bruce that Exodus and the others have learned their lesson and that if Bruce wants to go back to the Aborigines, he promises no one will ever bother him. Bruce tells Magneto that he likes being in charge and that he has a lot of things still left to do. He warns Magneto to stay out of Australia's business or else the Hulk will come down on the House of M and crush it.
