Back at the SHIELD base, an agent tells Nick that the Hulk has made contact and asks Nick what happens if he loses his mask. Nick explains how their data on the Hulk suggests that the Hulk’s mutation will alter his body to adapt to the situation. The agent asks even if it is a zero-atmosphere environment and Nick replies that’s what the data says. The agent says that the mutation only manifests when the Hulk is angry. Nick tells the agent not to worry since he knows that the Hulk by now has realized that Nick lied to him about who created the weapon. The agent says they should have just told banner that it was their weapon and their space capsule. Nick tells the agent that Banner might look like a reasonable, thinking man, but he’s not. Rather he is a large green creature and if he has to lie to the Hulk to accomplish the mission, that’s fine, he will do whatever it takes.

Back in space, the Hulk is trying to break free from the claw. Mini tendrils come out of the claw and break through the Hulk’s mask and the Hulk breaks the claw free from the station and floats out in space. A huge column of tendrils shoots out of the station and attack the Hulk.
Back at SHIELD, they are observing what is occurring in space. Nick notes that the weapon is keeping the Hulk at a distance so the Hulk can’t do any real damage. One of the agents tells Nick that the satellite they are using will be losing visual in about 20 minutes. Nick tells another agent to find another satellite immediately. Nick looks at the screen and tells the Hulk that he know what he has to do.

The Hulk continues to fight the tendrils until too many surround him and metal tendrils enter through his ears and he stops moving. By this time, SHIELD has lost the visual.

At the SHIELD base, Nick is trying to get another satellite up when they get a signal from the Godseye (the name of the weapon) is charging up and looks like it is going to fire. Nick tells someone to call the Pentagon and tell them to expect the worst and that he is activating the second team. A team of six space vehicles take off towards the Godseye weapon. An agent tells Nick that the Godseye is overcharged but it is not doing anything. Nick figures something else is happening and tells the second team to not engage and to fall back. The team does not respond and just then they get visuals back just in time to see the Godseye send out a blast and destroy all the ships. An agent says that it was never programmed to do that. Nick agrees which means that it is running a new program of it’s own. A phone starts ringing and it is the President. Nick says that he will answer it when he has some answers and asks where the Hulk is. An agent tells him that the Hulk has disappeared.

Bruce wakes up on the station in a bunk. He looks on the top bunk and sees a mummified astronaut who has metal tendrils coming out of it’s ears.

Nick is told by an agent that the Godseye’s energy signature has changed and is all over the spectrum. The agent pins the signature down and that it is almost in the midst of a mutation, it has converted all of it’s stored power from subatomic energy to gamma radiation. Nick then asks for the phone.

Bruce walks around the space station and comes across a room with more mummified bodies with metal tendrils coming out of their ears. He suddenly hears a noise and reaches for a gun on one of the bodies but tendrils come out of the gun and he drops it. He turns around and sees a humanoid-shaped robot standing behind him. He asks “what are you” and the robot tries repeating the same phrase.
