Nick Fury is talking with various generals at the Pentagon about the situation when one says that he knew that the plan was not going to work. Nick tells the general that no one knew it wouldn’t work. The Godseye has been up in space for years and every time they’ve attempted an attack with high tech weaponry, they only ended up having it neutralized, assimilated and pointed right back at them. The Hulk was their best option, just low tech smashing. But the Godseye did find something to assimilate, the aberrant gamma radiation that causes the Hulk’s mutation. Another general explains that they have been trying for years to duplicate the experiment that created the Hulk with no success and wonders if, unwittingly, they have created a Trojan horse. Another general is confused and asks for an explanation. Another general starts to explain what happened to Bruce was a fluke and can not be duplicated. Nick explains further that all the Godseye saw was an incredible power source that it could replicate. What it didn’t count on was that it couldn’t replicate what Bruce brings to the equation and that it will not be able to control the energy. If the Godseye is pushed enough, it will fail and go into meltdown from the stress.

Back on Godseye, Bruce stands in front of the humanoid representation of the Godseye A.I. It tells Bruce that Bruce is not human. Bruce responds “that makes two of us.” The unit then asks “what makes …two of you?” Bruce thinks about it for a second and asks if it really wants to know and the unit replies yes. Bruce starts to turn into the Hulk but he doesn’t see a metal tendril coming up behind him. The Godseye flings the Hulk out of the station, still attached to the tendril and the humanoid comes out after him, attached to the station by tendrils also. The Hulk rips the tendril out of the back of his neck and grabs the Godseye unit. Before the Hulk can hit it, the Godseye punches the Hulk, who goes flying down to the surface of the moon. The Godseye comes down to the surface and starts glowing green with the gamma radiation it assimilated as the Hulk comes flying at it.

Back at SHIELD, they have visual again just as the fight starts.

The Godseye station starts to glow green and reach critical energy levels as the unit on the moon keeps fighting the Hulk.

As the energy level keeps increasing, Nick tells the beta squad to get into place.

The Hulk and Godseye unit keep fighting until the unit glows an even brighter green and the space station blows up. The unit on the moon falls over and blows up also. The Hulk looks up to see two space vehicles drop a shuttle off above him. The Hulk gets up to the shuttle with a pulley and handle. The Hulk gets on the shuttle and suddenly the shuttle lurches forward, sending him flying back. He looks out the window and sees the shuttle heading away from Earth.

An agent at SHIELD asks Nick about what if the Hulk comes back. Nick just replies that they will deal with it, that’s their job. Nick goes back to office when a call comes in. The caller asks the status and Nick replies that the mission was accomplished.

In the shuttle, speeding away, the Hulk has an incoming transmission that says “Bruce, we’re so sorry, but you’ve left us with little choice.”
