The newly transformed Miek stands in front of the Hulk and tells him that they need him to defeat the Red King. The Hulk just says that it will never stop and tells Miek to get out of his way. When Miek lays his hand on the Hulk, the Hulk just slaps it away, which angers Miek's brothers and they attack him and then Miek attacks the Hulk also. The Hulk throws them all over, forcing Miek to the ground. The Hulk tells them that he was done and is about to smash Miek when Korg jumps in and takes the powerful hit. The Hulk is surprised by Korg's action and the hurt Korg tells the Hulk to just stop and let Miek hunt the Red King if he wants to. Miek says how can the Hulk stop what he was made to do.

Even in the desert, the Hulk's blood causes vines to grow and Hiroim says the Hulk gives the refugees and even him hope. Korg says that Miek is wrong, the Hulk should follow them into the Steppes but instead he prepares for war. Hiroim speaks of signs and these being the days of the Sakaarson, who will save them, and of the World Breaker, who will destroy us. The prophets tell them to look within for the Sakaarson and that they make their own choice to save themselves or destroy themselves. So while Hiroim and Korg lead a part of the refugees north into the unknown, the Hulk leads a group south to war. They come across Caiera and her army. The rebels fire a number of arrows and Caiera turns to stone so that she is protected. Before another volley of arrows can go, the Hulk tells them to stop and goes out to meet Caiera in the middle of the field. Caiera tells the Hulk he could have been safe with his friends but now the King wants his head and the Hulk mentions that he was coming for the King's head. Caiera mentions that with Korg and Hiroim gone, the strategy and strength of the group is gone and he is left with just angry. The Hulk mentions that anger has worked pretty good so far. Caiera tells the Hulk he really doesn't know who he is up against. She tells the story of when she was thirteen years old and had just starting to train wehn the Elders realized she had the Old Strength. She was still new to training when the the Spikes attack the village. The Elders told her to run as they were taken over from the Spikes but she was mad and stayed and fight as it was a good day to die. Suddenly the King appeas and tells the Death's Head soldiers to kill all the Spikes. The Emperor was just a boy himself and he had come for her. The Death's Head soldiers grabbed her and put an Obediance Disk on her. The King had let the Spikes kill a who village of Shadow People just to find the one with the Old Strength just to make that person his slave. She tells the Hulk that he will kill millions to get to him.

She challenges him to the ancient laws of savage Sakaar, individual combat. She stabs the Hulk with her fighting sword and the Hulk just pluckes it out and uses his sword to break hers. The Hulk prepares to smash Caiera when she uses her Old Strength right against the Hulk's chest and the power it releases is incredible. Far up in the north, Korg thinks it is an earthquake but Hiroim recognizes it as Caiera releasing the Oldstrong ability. On the battlefield, a soldier calls the King's assistant, tellinh him how unbelievable the Old Power is. The assistant asks where Caiera is but the Emperor walks in and says to forget about her and find out where the Green Scar is. Back on the battlefield, both the Hulk and Caiera get up. Caiera is surprised and says the Hulk should be dead and the Hulk replies that she looks dead. They prepare to finish it when one of the soldiers notices more Eleha'al vines growing from the Hulk's blood and mentions in his com that the Hulk really is the Sakaarson. The King hears it and tells the assistant to do it but he just begs him not to but the King does not listen. Suddenly, a large ship comes flying down out of the sky. Far way, Hiroim sees the ship and nows exactly what it is and mentions that it is the end. The ship crashes right in the battlefield and Caiera tells all her soldiers to retreat. The Hulk thinks it is just another bomb but Caeira tells him it is not a bomb but the Spikes, who suddenly come flowing out of the ship and start infecting people. She tells him they will take over everything and destroy the world but the Hulk says that she must have heard that destroying the world is his job. The Hulk and Caiera stand by each other ready to battle the Spikes.
