The Hulk asks Caiera if those are the Spikes and she says that they infect anything that is organic. The Hulk tells her they don't look too tough and that when he is done with them, he is coming back for her. Caiera says that he will not have a chance and stabs the Hulk in the foot. The Hulk gets angry and grabs Caiera and throws her far away as the Spikes close in on the Hulk. The Hulk smashes a Spike creature in front of him and thinks it is defeated when the Spikes shoots a tongue out and infects the Hulk.
