GREAT MOMENTS IN HISTORY

The Incredible Hulk #388: While a gangster is out jogging with two bodyguards, Speedfreek zips in and kills all three before they even realize what is going on. Later, while being paid for the job, the man offers Speedfreek another offer. Kill the man who is his son's companion and who gave his son a disease. The man offers to pay Speedfreek in money and in snap, the drug Speedfreek is addicted to. Speedfreek agrees to it. During a charity event where Rick Jones and his band are playing, Speedfreek breaks in to kill the man. He overshoots his goal and hits a wall. He then goes up to Rick to ask for an autograph and then tries to kill him. He cuts Rick and then tries to go after his target. Jim Wilson gets in the way and gets cut in the chest. Right before the killing blow, the Hulk jumps in. Speedfreek tags the Hulk with a adamantium-tipped barbed coil. Speedfreek drags the Hulk around until the Hulk pulls the barb out, under extreme pain. Speedfreek then uses a sword to try to decapitate the Hulk. The Hulk manages to get a shot and punches Speedfreek far away.

The Incredible Hulk #429: After his daughter, Kate, is killed while at an abortion clinic, Speedfreek, out of his suit and identifying himself as Mr. Shappe, goes to Bruce and Betty's house. He tells Betty that he knows that the Hulk lives there and that he wanted to pay the Hulk to find his daughter's killer and kill him.

The Incredible Hulk #430: The Hulk tells the disguised Speedfreek that he will find the person that killed his daughter so that they can have a face to face talk, but he will not condone anymore violence. Speedfreek says that he just wants to explain what a wonder girl Kate was. Betty is at the police station and overhears that he killer is the Reverand's son. The Hulk and Speedfreek go to the church and confront the boy. The boy says that it was an accident. Speedfreek hits the boy and says that he will pay for killing his daughter. The Hulk gets in the way and says that he won't let him hurt the boy. Speedfreek's suit appears and he admits to who he is. He tells how his daughter found out what he did for a living and couldn't trust him so she left. The Hulk grapples with Speedfreek and tells the boy to run. The Hulk grabs Speedfreek when he blasts off into the sky. They land at a schoolyard and Speedfreek uses his adamanatium swords to disembowel the Hulk. Speedfreek leaves the Hulk to hold his guts inside while he leaves to go after the boy. The Hulk's wound heals around his hand and he is forced to pull his hand out of his stomach to let it heal correctly. He catches up to Speedfreek just before he is going to kill the boy. During the fight, the Hulk throws a car battery at Speedfreek. Instead of ducking, Speedfreek cuts the battery in half. The battery acid splashes on his face, burning him.
